Paleo Pantry: the esentials you’ll need in your kitchen cupboards to ensure you can always eat Paleo with no effort

Full spice rack (essentials include salt, basil, oregano, chilli, smoked paprika, turmeric, coriander, thyme, cinnamon)

Tinned tomatoes

Coconut milk

Ground Almonds

Coconut Flour

Coconut Oil (make sure you purchase the highest quality virgin organic oil you can. Cheaper oils are partially hydrogenated)

Tinned fish (tuna, crab, salmon)

Eggs

Variety of frozen fruits and veg – super quick and saviours when you need to knock up a Paleo meal but have not planned anything!

Variety of fresh and frozen meats and fish

Various of unsalted raw nuts – pecans, almonds, macadamias,  brazil nuts…

Flvoured olive oils (I like olive oils to be infused with garlic or basil, for extra flavour when preparing dishes)

Organic honey

Ground flaxseeds

Cocoa powder

Vanilla essence

Paleo Food Shopping

While the essentials of the Paleo diet are easily found in high street shops, supermarkets and food specialists, some Paleo ingredients  you’ll see in recipes can be more of a challenge to find. However, the internet makes eating Paleo super easy – you can find anything with a little leg work! Here are my favourites:

Natco-online.com. Asian food specialist. Great for cheap non-organic 1kg bags of coconut flour and a wide range of spices

Tiana-coconut.com. All things coconut! Sells high quality organic coconut produce, including coconut oil, coconut chips, coconut flour, coconut milk.

Tesco.com. Great for buying larger bags of nuts and dried fruits at cheaper prices than you’ll usually find in store

Amazon.com. When all else fails, check out Amazon for any hard-to-find elusive ingredients. I usually buy my coconut oil from Aamazon, the deals online make it cheaper than buying in shops.
